Sports Performance

Sports Performance 15-25-35 (5 credits each)

Sports Performance is a five-credit modular-based course that teaches skills to enhance athletic development.  Through a combination of theoretical and practical lessons, students will learn essential skills in fitness, nutrition, sport psychology, training principles and health and wellness.  Students will use a variety of training methods to increase athletic performance and must be highly motivated to train physically on a daily basis.  It is not recommended that students take this course during the same semester as physical education.
