Queen Elizabeth is...

Queen Elizabeth High School focuses on a personalized learning environment that encourages full participation in learning through academics, athletics, fine arts, clubs, intramurals, student leadership, technology and innovations. We provide a small-school atmosphere with all the advantages of a big school. We encourage students to live a balanced lifestyle and to pursue lifelong learning, and we support them with a diverse range of programs, including Knowledge and Employability and Advanced Placement. Our school offers languages,  cosmetology, forensics, medical services, video production, animation, sports peformance, foods, Work Experience, the Registered Apprenticeship Program, and more.


UNESCO

Queen Elizabeth High School is one of two schools in Alberta designated as an UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization) School. UNESCO schools focus on innovative inclusive quality education. As such, we "empower learners to take on active roles locally and globally to resolve global challenges and contribute proactively to a more just, peaceful, inclusive, secure and sustainable world".
